Religious? Litigious??

Ok, so comments have died down and I figure it's about time I up the shock value of my blog just a bit. Remember, this is about Free Speech and a picture of the kind of world we will live in if some Christianists get their utopia of a theocratic nation. It's not about gay rights, but about Christians repressing thought and controversy that makes them uncomfortable. I also find it relevant as a blogger who frequently uses parody as a rhetorical tool. So on that note:

I'm not sure which part of your post you were intending to be satirical. The Christian Nation idea, and what exactly it would look like, depends on which person you ask at what time of the day - it varies all over the place.

If I were the dictator of a nation with sole responsibility to shape the laws this sign would be fine. The idea that laws should stop those who would promote homosexuality has no basis in how the Bible instructs Christians and governments to operate.

On the topic of personal interaction with homosexuals, you might like the Tom Hanks / Denzel Washington film Philadelphia
